The Slingshot web site has been updated with the 2008 line, but the T3
details are still secret.

But it looks that something leaked…

ProKiteSpain post an article with details about the new bar and wind range.

The interesting fact is about the new bar: it’s the same system used for the rev:

Now the security leash pass
through the stopper ball and
enters into the bar.

In this way the security will be
connected under the bar.

This new feature will help if you
do rotation and jump.

The leash will not twist …

Take a look also at the wind range:

T2 is a superb kite, but with a only thing to be fixed: the security leash.
It is not useful to connect the leash to the front line. It makes imbossible to play with rotation.

But it looks that Turbo3 is coming. I hope that the security system introduced with Rev will come to T3.

I do not think that T3 will be shipped in Decembre, but I hope that details are true..

I found a video on kiteforum.tv that explain a way to self launch  a kite.
But this method is suggested for bow kite, if may be dangerous for C-Kite.

I will try it as soon I will go on the beach!

I can’t wait for watching it!!

Finalmente Colico mostra il suo meglio: il sabato è iniziato con 14 nodi per aumentare progressivamente fino ad una media di 18-20 nodi. L’anemomentro di Lumin, ha mostrato anche qualche raffica di 22 nodi!!!

E’ stata la mia prima uscita con la mia nuova vela: la Turbo2 11 di Slingshot.

Non avevo mai provato un bow e, a parte l’iniziale giro per capire il comportamento, devo dire che mi sono trovato vermante bene: l’ala tira tantissimo considerando che peso parecchio, sventa tanto e rimane in bordo finestra in maniera molto decisa.

Sono rimasto in acqua anche quando il vento e’ salito fino al suo massimo ed è bastato semplicemente allontanare un po’ la barra per reggere tranquillamente l’aumento del vento.

Insomma devo dire che sono rimasto assolutamente contento della vela.

La domenica il vento non era eccezionale come il giorno precedente, ma tutto sommato ci siamo divertiti uguale.

I was looking for a kite that allows me to use it in the range 15-22, and the turbo2 looks the right choice.

Yesterday I went to the como lake, and when I go in the water there was 14-16 knots.
It was beautyful: I was able to go upwind without any problem: I was even able to go faster then 75kg kiters!!!

In the middle of the afternoon, the wind was 17-20 knots, but there’s was no problem at all: just releasing the bar a little, I was able continue my session.

The only thing I can say is: INCREDIBLE!! Great job Slingshot!!
